Well, it has been quite a ride!!!  Also, quite an unbelievable past two years for us here at Shauney's.  In November of 2006, just two months after I decided to return to school on a fulltime basis, we lost our home to a devastating fire.  Luckily, the barn was not affected.  However, we were very fortunate to have made it out of the house with ours lives.  It took over a year for our home to be rebuilt but we are thankful to be back on the farm once again.  I have come to realize in the past few months, that keeping the farm running, working full time outside of the home now, and the usual chaos of raising a family, that I can no longer keep up.  It is with great dismay that I part with remainder of my horses.  If you have any questions regarding the horses, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Modern Pleasure Stallion - ASPC 150571A - foaled 04/28/2002

Beauty, Grace and Quality...all wrapped up in this gorgeous boy!  He truly does take my breath away EVERY time I look at him.  Blaze proved himself a worthy opponent in the show ring in both 2003 and 2004.  Having moved to Canada, he left the showring with only needing 4 points and 1 Grand to complete his HOF!  His sire E’s Intisapatience (HOF) as well as his dam, E’s Eery Lady, have both done extremely well in the showring in both halter and driving.  His pedigree includes Step N Fetch, Michigan Distinctive Image, as well as Kid Lee!  Blaze is extremely easy to handle!!!  He’s level headed and a true sweetheart to deal with.  He loves his pettings!  Without hesitation, he will stand like a true winner.   Broke to harness in 2004 but has not kept up with his training.  He was bred to one mare in 2005 and produced a very smart bay filly who has already made her show debut in Area One with her dam as a weanling.  Blaze has, to date, sired two fillies and two colts.  He has settled each mare that he was bred to.  We are selling him at an extraordinary loss.  $ 2000.00

Black Modern Pleasure -  ASPC 155487A - 2005

DeeDee is a TRUE black (non fading) mare.  She foaled a beautiful bay filly this year, but was sadly lost at 2 weeks of age due to a horrible accident in the pasture (kicked).  The foaling went without a hitch and she has been bred back to Blaze for 2009.  She loves to be pet in the pasture and enjoys her brushings, when she finally settles down!!  She has a superb gait with high hock action.  These are pasture pictures, so please pardon the "dust"!!  DeeDee will sell in foal.  Asking price of $1400.00.

Classic Shetland -Homozygous Bay pinto - ASPC  154583A - 2005

Presently measures approx. 38-39".

Windy foaled a beautiful pinto colt this season.  She is a well proportioned mare but is a little nervous when being handled. Windy has been re-bred to Blaze for a 2009 foal.  Shauney's What A Cowboy has a lovely gait and flashy colour.  He has definitely inherited his father's awesome movement.  Windy is for sale at $1600.00 and the colt for $750.00 upon weaning in September.  They can be sold as a 3 in 1 package for $1800.00!!!
